The exhibition Breath of Trees is a dialogue between paper, image, illustration and sound. Fanni Lyytikäinen’s ink drawings and Juho Huttunen’s photography come together to explore the relationship between nature and culture through an intuitive artistic collaboration. The exhibition features a sound work by Iron Lang, the artistic alias of Italian sound artist Anthony Arcana.
My personal work for this exhibition was research on korean paper fibers, paper making and ink illustration/painting. The biggest works were 2 m x 150 cm and it was personally very important for me to be able to feel how physical painting is when done in big scale, like a dance.
