To Walk Like a Child is an interdisciplinary project that combines photography, artistic research, and clothing design. The project originated as part of my master’s thesis at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, which explored the nature-culture dualism through clothing and textile design within a photographic framework. In spring 2021, photographer Juho Huttunen joined the project, enabling an intensive collaboration that expanded the research into visual storytelling.Through art direction, photographic experimentation, and design, the installation seeks to provoke reflection on the ways we perceive and interact with nature, encouraging viewers to notice aspects that are often overlooked or not recognized as part of nature. The exhibition was supported by the photography and film house Duotone.
